The Festival Project Grant is an annual funding program offered by the City of Victoria to support non-profit festivals and celebrations that reflect the region’s creative energy, build community and bring people together.
Since 1999, the program (formerly known as the Festival Investment Grant) has awarded $5 million to help nurture the development, sustainability and growth of high-quality annual festivals. These events enhance the vibrancy, vitality and diverse character of Victoria, while supporting tourism, local businesses and year-round economic activity.
In 2025, the program funded 43 events and celebrations with $459,688 in grant funding. This is the largest amount of funding ever distributed.
