City of Victoria facilities will be observing the holiday schedule below for Labour Day. Police, fire and those who provide emergency streets and utility services are available 24/7.

Curbside Organics and Garbage Collection
Organics and garbage collection will not occur on Monday, September 2. View your Organics and Garbage collection schedule.
Saturday Yard and Garden Waste Drop-Off
City of Victoria residents can drop off their garden waste year-round at the Public Works Yard at 417 Garbally Road, Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Drop-off at the Public Works Yard will be open on Saturday, August 31.

Emergency streets and utility services are not affected by the holiday and can be contacted day or night at 250.361.0400.
Parking
Parking will be free at City parkades and at on-street meters for Labour Day on Monday, September 2.
Parking is always free at City parkades on Sundays and holidays and after 8 p.m. Pay parking at on-street meters is in effect daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. except for statutory holidays. Pay parking is in effect 24/7 at the City's surface parking lots. Learn more about parking downtown.
Downtown Bike Valet
This weekend, the free Downtown Victoria Bike Valet will be open at City Hall for the following hours:
Friday, August 30: 7:30 a.m.–10 p.m.
Saturday, August 31: 10 a.m.–10 p.m.
Sunday, September 1: 10 a.m.–7 p.m.
Monday, September 2: 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
