Victoria parks are the perfect place for picnics and small gatherings.
Park Permits
A Park Permit covers private gatherings such as picnics and birthday parties, but not public events. Fill out a Park Permit Application here.

Park Wedding Permits
City parks provide a beautiful setting for a wedding. Some popular wedding locations include Laurel Point Park, Stone Bridge and the Rose Garden in Beacon Hill Park.
A Wedding Permit Application must be submitted to the Parks division at least six weeks prior to your requested date. The applicant must obtain and maintain comprehensive insurance coverage, naming the City of Victoria as an insured indemnified party. If you do not have insurance, it can be purchased through the City at the time of permit application. Coverage may be obtained through a provider of the Applicant's choice or through Instant Risk.
Insurance
Insurance for the event must be obtained by the Applicant. The Applicant must provide proof of coverage at least two weeks prior to the booked timeslot. Failure to obtain and provide proof of coverage by this time will result in cancellation of the booking. Coverage may be obtained through a provider of the Applicant's choice or Instant Risk. Please contact Instant Risk directly for any question or concerns regarding that platform or coverage.
If arranging coverage through your own provider, the Certificate of Insurance must evidence Commercial General Liability coverage with a minimum of $5 million limits, and include The City of Victoria as an Additional Insured, with a cross liability clause.
